Outlook 2007

We have created a step-by-step process to help you view your e-mail from any computer you have. Please follow the instructions and you will be able to read your e-mail in a few short minutes.

  1. In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > Account Settings.

  2. In the E-mail Accounts window, click New.

  3. A new window will pop up. Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP.

  4. In the Account Setup, click on the checkbox at the bottom then click Next.

  5. Select Internet E-mail then click Next.

  6. In the Internet E-mail Settings, enter the information as follows:
    • Your Name: Enter your first name and last name.
    • E-mail Address: Enter your e-mail address.
    • Account Type: Make sure to select POP3.
    • Incoming Mail Server: Enter mail.yourdomain.com (e.g. mail.valleyprographics.com)
    • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): Enter mail.yourdomain.com (.e.g. mail.valleyprographics.com)
    • Username: Enter your e-mail address.
    • Password: Enter the password provided to you.
    • Click on "Remember Password"

  7. Click on More Settings.
  8. Select the Outgoing Server tab.
    • Click on the box beside "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
    • Make sure to select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".

  9. Select the Advanced tab.
    • Change the Incoming Server port to 110.
    • Change the Outgoing Server port to 587.

  10.  Click OK.
  11. Click Next.

  12. Click Finish.
